Bought two of these and installed into a pair of custom made bins.Powered by an iNuke 3000dsp in bridged mode and these things are a perfect match for that amp.Punchy, clean with no distortion running amp at 70 to 90%.I have 2 live outdoor shows on these and could not be happier.Amazing value. Packaged nicely too.

It could just be the box that I placed it in but it sounds muffled and doesn’t hit like I thought it would.

I bought as a replacement for my peavys and thoroughly impressed with them great bass I have them hooked to a Peavy cs1000x and have run them for hours cranked and took every second of it like it was nothing a definite must buy if you have the power to run them anyway

I used this speaker as a replacement for my low-end driver in my Mackie Thump 15 active PA cabinet. Mackie no longer sells or makes this speaker, so I had to go aftermarket. This was an excellent choice. The cabinet sounds and performs like new. I have always been satisfied with the price, performance, and quality of the Rockville products I have purchased, from microphones, to headphones, to speaker components. My order arrived on time, well packaged, in perfect condition, and installation was a breeze.

The media could not be loaded. Amazing sound quality… running it through a Low Pass filter on amp for Sub’s…. It shook my room without an enclosure. I will be getting another one!https://youtu.be/9XWvB_cpOaYUpdate:I just used this in a 2.1 pa System to Dj a wedding Reception with some 12″ 250watt mains using a low pass and high pass crossover filter . These sound great as subs. I will be doing some live music later this summer. I am looking forward to hear what 2 of these can do with some 15″ tops.

After doing a lot of research I decided to go with these sub woofers. I replaced 2 blown Peavey 1801-8 with these and I was thoroughly impressed. Great bass response. My PA towers get used once a week so I don’t know how well they would hold up in a professional environment where they were used daily but for my application I have no issues what so ever. I will definitely be using Rockville’s to replace some blown 15’s I have in another cabinet.

I’m a reformed brand snob when it come to audio equipment. I have a recording studio in my house along with a pretty elaborate home theater system, a separate and elaborate gaming system, a 2 channel system just for music and a PA system that I use for parties. Playing in a band for many years exposed me to a lot of different equipment as well, so I think I have a good feel for what works and what doesn’t.These speakers don’t just deliver “for the price” but they actually just deliver. If you paint over the labels on the dust caps, nobody will know what they are- they’ll just know they sound good. I’m still in a little disbelief that these work so well for so cheap.I had two of those super cheap $129 18″ Rockville subs for our basement system the kids use to have “dance parties” with their other little kid friends. Those subs were ok, but for the money they were a great deal. They are so much lighter than my JBL amplified 18″ that I can take my system places for parties etc. I’m driving them with a crest audio 3.0DSP amp which is pretty powerful and clean. Before blowing up my cheap subs by driving them too hard, I read about these speakers- and the power handling was much more in line with what I was using. Swapped these into those old cheap (but light) cabinet and… wow! Super punchy with great extension down low. I listen to a wide range of music, but the best way to see if a sub is up to it is running some funk, jazz etc through them. These sound better than my JBL 618S’s… and not just a little better. They can play bass heavy modern dance stuff or pull off very musical material as well.Even considering what I paid for those cabinets, two of these w/cabinets comes in at about half the price of just one powered JBL sub. One on one against the JBL, hate to say it- the JBL falls flat. I’m simply amazed at these. If you plan to use these in the RBG1184 cabinet, remove the plastic tubes for the ports to avoid port noise. Wish I did this a while ago. The only people I know of who didn’t have great results with these- it was probably user error… If someone is blowing one (or more) of these up, they’re probably clueless how to use audio equipment. Feed these things REAL power from a quality source and they’ll rattle your internal organs.

Not gonna lie but these things pound some clean bass👍🏼If you want clean, between 32hz-120hz bass and then get them. I have 4 and custom made enclosures, each pair ran on a crown 1502 amp and they have blown me away especially for the price!!! Sometimes the crown amps tend to clip a bit but these things love that power especially being clean power and run cool👍🏼 each sub is receiving about 400-475 rms and amp is running of course on bridge at 4ohms. These amps can give you a band pass filter which is awesome!! but i have them at 37.5hz to 125hz and they are more then happy to run all night so far not complaints and have used them about 12 times 5 hour edm and hiphop parties nonstop. Sound very similar to 2 jbl srx dual 18’s with the custom made boxes. highly recommended for a project!! Get a pair and feed it the right power and a good enclosure and you will not be disappointed.

I bought a really cheap pair of Jensen 3-way 15″ speakers about 20 years ago. Somewhere along the way, long ago, I replaced the 15″ drivers with equivalent Jensen parts when they both blew. Recently I decided I wasn’t satisfied with the sound, particularly on the low end, so I replaced both 15″ with these. Wow. I wish I had done this YEARS ago. These things are MONSTERS. Awesome, clean, heavy bass. These are putting out crystal sound at 10 where the previous drivers would have cracked up at 5. Super happy. My getting-drunk-after-work loud music episodes are much more cathartic now. I did adjust some amp settings to tone down the bass a bit because it was overwhelming at first, but that very well could have been because the previous drivers were lacking. The original mid- and treble- drivers are still going strong and meld just fine with these upgrades.

They work well. Cant be beat for the price. Also, upon googling these speakers, i came across some DJ forums where members were asking if anyone had heard of these, followed by abundant nay saying by “brand name” guys automatically downing these as “no name” brand speakers. Well at the price, any half successful dj conducting venues should be able to painlessly afford to try these. I must say, I am VERY pleased at the performance of these drivers.Included were all necessary specs,(see pic) in case you would want to design your own enclosures. Anyone can drop names of brands that cost an arm and a leg, but let the product do the talking. I think these deserve a look by anyone interested in 18 inch high power handling drivers.
