First of all this is not a 1600 watt amp. At 2 ohms it’s probably more like 200 watt rms. However, going into this purchase I figured this would be the case. I have it pushing 4 kicker cs series door speakers in my jeep and it sounds much better than just the 50 watt head unit. Which is all I wanted. Just please be informed this amp is really only for door speakers and you will be disappointed trying to use it with a subwoofer. Other than that it has been working fine for 2 week

Absolutely satisfied with this amp. I bought two of these to pair with the two Planet Audio AC12D 1800w subs I bought and I couldn’t be happier with the result. In other reviews and even other websites there is a lot of negative feelings towards this amp and it’s output ability. I have not tested for actual amperage or watt output but paired with a single 12″ sub this amp performs excellent. You can spend twice as much on an amp and get better performance but not everyone has that kind of money to throw around. If you want competition quality you have to spend the money for it. If you are just looking to add some serious bump to your trunk, save yourself some cash and go with Planet Audio.

I have it pushing two kicker comp c 15’s for $60.99 I paid I’m very happy I bought this anarchy 1500 watt amp nice deep clean and loud the way I wanted it. These subs rated 1200 peak a piece 600 rms and it’s hitting the low notes very hard and clean no distortion. I recommend this amp if you looking for serious bass and the bass knob is made very nicely as well . I might upgrade later to the 3000 watt anarchy but for now this will definitely do

Let me start with this thing is massive it was a little bit shocking and surprisingly heavy, with the lift properly warning sticker but if was packaged perfectly as was all the car audio I got from warehouse deal’s, it was replacing a Crunch 1000 watts x 4 which was more like 400 x 4 maybe but luckily the crossover switch on both sides developed shorts which caused constant protect mode and the battery light would stay on I also have a Fosgate P 500+ watt mono amp and now with this amp the sound is more balanced and I no longer can max out the Kentwood radio volume, I have Kicker 6.5 K series components and Infinity 4×6’s, and Punch 12’s on the Fosgate amp, I’m using the 5th channel of the planet Audio amp for 6.5 inch mid bass for the tight bass that was lacking a little and it sounds great and my battery light isn’t coming on now as a bonus and the only thing is you need a lot of space to own one or use it as a stand alone amp to run your entire setup which its more than capable of doing especially wired to 2 ohms, its Giant and the numbers stated are pretty accurate compared to a lot of brands, and I would guess that they are in the upper echelon of car amp makers or just below them.

Nice sturdy design, decent size footprint and quality control knob.I am only running a JBL 1000 watt 12″ with this but it does very well after I got it dialed in. I abuse it daily on my 1hr 30m commute without issue so far and I still just let it slide around in my trunk.
Unbiased opinion from a DYI’er –
Reviews on this amp have been mixed but it was fairly priced and I was not planning on going to competition with my setup. I have been using the amp for about two months and it has performed flawlessly. It is pushing two 10” kicker subs – no problem. Sounds great and I would definitely look at another Planet Audio amp in the future if I have a need.

Im not a certified installer, but have over 30 years experience with audio/video electronics service, repair and installation. Combined with Naval aviation electronics electro- mechanical service, I should be considered a knowledgable person in the car audio rhelm. Audio Planet has a great selection of amps Having bought a 1200w Anarchy amp from Amazon years ago, I am wanting half that power for my 91 toyota pickup, which is a small truck cab, im using two 12s in sealed enclosures On top of that, this amp wont eat up amps from my alternator. Although i recommend a capacitor or another battery to keep from dimming the headlights at high volume levels, in my truck specifically. buy Planet Audio instaed. I did!!!

I picked this up in 2012 as part of a continued audio upgrade for my ’03 BMW 330i ZHP when I added a sub enclosure that utilized the ski-pass to avoid rattle in the trunk with no need for sound deadening/dampening materials. The sound was increased exponentially through the factory HK speakers, which I have not upgraded at this time.It still works flawlessly and was a great investment for my car audio.

Got this for my brother and helped him build a subwoofer system. We did a kicker 12 inch sub and this amp. I was able to wire everything up in an afternoon after work and he loves it. Pushes the sub nice, had to throttle it back a bit actually. Leaves room for upgrades later. Easy to control, just be careful when setting your gain and bass levels. You don’t want to blow speakers.

I didn’t expect much from this amp when I bought it. I was big into car audio 15 years ago. I never quite got it right. I was constantly blowing up subwoofers and amps. Now today we have all the information needed in our pocket on our phone instead of having to read a booklet on every single piece of equipment we buy. So I’m running this amp with a Rockford fosgate prime r2(250w rms) at the moment in a box I built to exact specs for a sealed enclosure in my Ford F-150 xlt. It fits perfectly behind the seat. Of course I’m not getting the full power potential out of this amp but my under 200$ Set up sounds amazing. I love the bass boost remote. Feels well built and it looks great. This amp brought my passion for super bass back after all these years. I highly recommend this amp for any budget build.
