I debated over months on whether I should get the Mini 70 or the Mini 90. After noticing Amazon’s “Reload $100 on giftcard get $10 free deal” I opted for the latter. The difference between the two was basically $20 after that deal. No regrets.Pros:- Flash control, on/off (often times flash will over expose shots)- Rechargeable battery (I have only charged my Mini 90 two times since I’ve gotten it. Taken over 300+ shots)- Bulb mode (great for light painting or low-light settings)- Double exposure mode (fun pic splicing)- Doesn’t look or feel like a bulky toy (It’s made of plastic, but it has a satisfying weight and feel to it. Doesn’t feel “cheap”)Cons:- Still around $100 even after sweet deals and discounts (mini 8 or 9 is half the price and serves generally the same purpose. Wide is around $80, comparable to Mini 70)- The viewfinder is not accurate when framing things less than 3 feet away. Shots will be lower and to the right of where you aim. Framing is very tricky. The Mini 90 captures blue tones really well when using “Darken (D mode)” in sufficiently lit settings.I have had my Mini 90 for two months now; no issues to report.

This was the first instant camera that I ever purchased and it has gone through so many adventures with me!! Shortly after I purchased this one I bought the Instax Liplay and it does not compare to the quality of photos de Instax Mini 90 offers. I’ve literally used the Liplay as a printer more than anything and I always gravitate to the Instax Mini 90 to take whenever I travel or take roadtrips. It’s beautifully designed, comfortable to carry and the features it has are pretty awesome in comparisson to other instant cameras on the market. I love the vintage vibe it gives and how easy it is to capture the perfect picture and memories. It’s fun, reliable and great for it’s value!! You cannot go wrong with purchasing this item, you will not regret it!!

I love this camera! It’s perfect for capturing the moment instantly and having something in your hand. I’m old school and have developed 20% of my digital. This is automatically preserved. The settings are great! Just make sure when you take photos of people, you take it really close. The film is small but when you get people tight in the screen it’s really awesome. I got the Faux leather. And the leather case which I love also. I get great compliments all the time and have had it only two weeks. 2 people have shown me that they ordered one or have one now. Double exposure is fun. Action shooting works great. I wish all these options were on the 300… only cuz I like the film size. But I love these too!!! I am 44 yrs old peeps.

Really enjoy using this camera. I’ve had this camera for 4 months now but didn’t use it much during the winter (because of the film’s temperature range – winter too cold!). I recently went on a trip to Seattle and tested out the various modes. The colors come out pretty great and there’s wonderful clarity on landscape mode. I love the somewhat grungy/vintage look that prints without using any of the modes as well. Super fun and great camera!P.S. When they say don’t point the camera at the sun, really don’t. I caught the sun in one of my photos and it was a beautiful black circle in the sky. Haha.

BOTTOM LINE:The Instax Mini 90 produces the best picture quality of any film only Instax camera and also has the best build quality. It shines in a number of areas including macro (close up) shots and shooting modes with five (5) total. It is the most expensive film only Instax camera at around $115 and comes in only two (2) colors. It is best for those who want the best quality photos and also a variety of shooting options and creative modes. The 2x exposure and bulb mode are cool but can be difficult to master. For children or infrequent users the Mini 70 or Mini 9 is a better choice.PROS:- Features Tripod mount Timer Manual exposure adjustment LCD readout- Best picture quality- Best for macro photos- Ability to turn flash on/off- Largest number of shooting modes of any Instax camera (party, kid, landscape, 2x and bulb)CONS:- Dread ‘E’ that shows up on the LCD display renders the cameras useless (see details below).- Expensive- Limited color selection (black & brown)- No selfie mirror- Rechargeable battery only good for 160 photos (16 Packs)- No selfie mirror’E’ Error DetailsSeemingly out of nowhere the LCD display will show an ‘E’ error and be rendered useless. You cannot power off, replace the batteries or reset the camera to get rid of it. The camera will not function. There is something you can do! If you have purchased the camera within a year and have the proof of purchase (i.e. Amazon Invoice) you can ship it to Fujifilm North America Camera Repair Department in Edison, NJ and they send you a new camera. If it is outside this year window, you can still ship it there for repair, you will just be charged. Which may, or may not be, worth the investment.FULL REVIEWThe Mini 90 is the most expensive of any film only Instax camera at $115 dollars. Available in only two (2) colors , black and brown, it comes with one (1) rechargeable battery good for about 160 photos. This is more then any camera that takes two (2) AA like the Mini 8 or Mini 9 which are good for about 100 but less then cameras which take the CR2 (Mini 70) good for about 300 photos. Camera comes with LCD readout, tripod mount and timer. It also has five (5) shooting modes and manual exposure options. All upgrades over the Mini 8 and 9. One of the features you get on this camera and the Mini 70 is the ability to turn off the flash. This is nice if you are shooting shiny objects where the flash can washout the subject. If you are going to be using the camera only a few times we suggest the Mini 70/Mini 9 for better value. -EVERYTHINGINSATXDOTCOM & INSTANTCAMERARENTALDOTCOM

This is my love thing. THE PICTURES ARE SMALL. Hence “mini” but if thst works for you this is amazing. I love instant pictures. The modes all work enough. Pictures come out to be about 60 cents per photo. Battery last forever. So much fun if you are a sentimental person who loves pictures.I imagine my kids flipping through them when I am old.

for reference I’ve already used probably 6 or 7 color packs plus 1 b/w pack of mini film in this camera.Love the neo 90 classic. it has all the features I could want and looks so good! I love the closeup mode that lets you take better selfies.I was worried mini format wouldn’t be big enough for my needs, but actually the small size has paid for itself in the accessibility of film.I can 90% of the time find mini film at Walmart, but I’ve yet to see any of the larger instant formats, or occasionally polaroid. but the mini film is much more affordable. All of my photos have turned out nice, I even tried long exposures at night and that was cool! I think I metered at f12 and iso 800 and exposed based off whatever my meter said to do.Anyway these photos are so cool, I love watching the photos develop and it’s nice having a physical product on a digital world.Buy this camera lol you probably won’t regret it

I bought this camera on a whim. My girlfriend and I were headed to Iceland, and I was planning to propose. I wanted to capture all the little moments of our trip and make an album. This thing is an absolute blast. For those of you who remember polaroids, you’ll fall in love all over again with the Instax. I opted for the mini 90 over the mini 9 primarily for style. The brown vinyl is perfectly vintage. I also found out later that this camera had more features (Although I rarely use the different modes). This camera is not designed to take crisp, brilliant pictures. Instead, it looks like it’s been put through a vintage Instagram filter. There are so many things you can do with the pictures. I made an Engagement album, sent one as a post card, framed a few. If you search Etsy for instax albums and frames you will be pleasantly surprised at the versatility of these photos. As for the modes, the instructions do included do not provide the best info. There is party mode (man and woman icon) which brightens up indoor photos, Landscape mode (Mountain icon) which enhances distant photos, D&L (Dark and light) which adjust brightness, macro mode for close shots, and a few others. But really, just grab the camera and get to shooting! It’ll turn out just fine.
